Greenville Symphony Orchestra - West Side Story

Why see Greenville Symphony Orchestra - West Side Story?

American Musical Heritage

The Symphonic Dances from Leonard Bernstein's West Side Story, Aaron Copland's Fanfare for the Common Man, Carlos Simon's Four Black American Dances and more masterful works provide a marvelous snapshot of the great American musical heritage with the Greenville Symphony Orchestra. An orchestral experience to conjure images of the atmosphere and cosmopolitan sonics of 20th and 21st-century America, don't miss this fabulous program!

Led by Music Director Lee Mills, the concert will also spotlight principal clarinettist John Sadak on Copland's Clarinet Concerto, as well as unveiling Jessica Meyer's Turbulent Flames for its South Carolina premiere. An exquisite night with the orchestra!
