GREAT PRODUCTION AND MUSICAL PERFORMANCE

I have seen this performed on stage (off broadway) for 48 years and this was the best choreography and musical performance I have seen. Vocals were excellent with a few exceptions that got somewhat pitchy in I don’t know how to love him, but male leads came through at the big moments. Honestly, I didn’t care for the movie, and thought the television production was embarrassingly bad, so I loved that this was a really well done, accurate to the original broadway cast, production.

WONDERFUL

My husband saw original 50 years ago . I saw somewhat later. This production is very good. We enjoyed it all. Interpretation slightly different from years ago but still wonderful.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC

Saw this rendition of one of my favorite if not favorite shows last night. I have seen Ted Neeley (Jesus) and Carl Anderson (Judas) in the stage version of the original rock opera several times (as well as seeing the movie a million times) and was looking forward to this version. It did not disappoint. It stayed pretty much in step with the original rock opera with a modern kind of hip hop/modern dance twist. The vocals were amazing as well as the set design. The live music was amazing. Go with an opened mind and you will really enjoy the show! ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC !!

My son and I thoroughly enjoyed this production. The show was powerful with the excellent singing, dancing, lighting, and set design. The use of props was very clever and the band was outstanding. Great production to honor the 50th Anniversary!

PHENOMENAL SHOW!

This was the third time that I have seen Jesus Christ Superstar. This performance was by far the most amazing. All of the cast were so talented, and the choreography was unbelievable. I had chills several times throughout the show. I wish I could have personally congratulated the entire cast. Bravo! I highly recommend this show!

I came to the show having seen it live 50 years ago in Chicago. Didn't imagine it could measure up. Measure up it did! Fantastic! I don't understand the folks complaining about plot lines etc. Guess the same controversy still exists about it today as it did all those years ago. At that time, I was told it was blasphemous. A very moving performance.
